Berlin/Copenhagen duo Traffic Report's debut album “Traffic Jams” is a 12-track Lofi and Acid House adventure that lands on Redlight Music.
The philosophy of Traffic Report is to play full live electronic music, using an array of drum machines, synthesizers, and samplers, unaided by the computer’s digital touch, and “Traffic Jams” is no exception to the rule. The duo’s debut album presents a collection of tracks that touch on classic house, acid, and deep house, with hypnotic, groovy atmospheres, imposing pads, and classical chord progressions.
Traffic Report are Christian Rütz from Copenhagen and Marc Brauner from Berlin. They met in the summer of 2016 in Berlin and soon after started jamming, producing, and readying a live set.
Marc Brauner (Houseum, Shall Not Fade) has spent recent years DJing and producing house music in Berlin. He runs the creative collective ‚We Change The Weather‘ in Bremen, and released his debut solo album “Turn Nothing To Something” on Pentagonik in January 2017.
“Traffic Jams” is available on cassette, CD and digitally.
